Dr. Peng received her master degree in piano performance from The Ohio State University, and doctor degree in piano performance from Conservatory-College of Music, Cincinnati University, OH. Dr. Peng was a former assistant professor at University of Art and Technology in Taiwan.
With her passion of chamber music, Dr. Peng continues to explore both instrumental and vocal ensemble repertoire after she moved to Vancouver. Her collaborative performance appeared in Italy, Germany, USA, Taiwan, and Canada, such as Casalmaggiore Music Festival, Strings Retreat in Orcas Island, Classical concerts in “Ms Europa” Cruise, Musical “Red Letter” in Victoria, and numerous concerts in many revues of Vancouver.
As a member of BC Registered Music Teacher’s Association and Canadian Federation of Music Teacher’s Associations, Dr. Peng contributes her musical talents to be a dedicated teacher, festival adjudicator, and chamber musician. Many of her students won prizes in festivals and high marks in RCM exams. She joins the faculty of Vancouver International School of Music—White Rock in the year of 2014.

彭忆芬博士，来自台湾。美国辛辛那提音乐学院钢琴演奏专业博士学位，辅修钢琴伴奏，获学院全额奖学金。美国俄亥俄州立大学钢琴演奏硕士。忆芬曾以术科甄试第一名，保送台湾台北师范大学音乐系就读，专修钢琴演奏，副修小提琴、声乐及南胡。彭忆芬曾任职台北市庄敬高职，台湾台南女子技术大学助理教授。
忆芬博士自从2002年移居加拿大后，经常与本地优秀音乐家及团体合作，例如 Soprano Robyn Klassen, Violinist Anne Shih, Borealis String Quartet等。曾经在意大利 Casalmaggiore Music Festival, 华盛顿Orcas Island Music Camp, 地中海游轮古典音乐会, University of Washington, Victoria Metro Studio, Vancouver Chan Centre, University of British Columbia, Vancouver Play House, Queen Elisabeth Theatre 演出。忆芬博士曾担任过两届Vancouver Kawi钢琴大赛评审.
忆芬博士凭十五年以上的教学经验，培养了无数优秀的学生，在许多的音乐节和考试当中表现突出，获佳奖无数。
