Cindy holds a Bachelor’s of Music from Hong Kong Baptist University, Licentiate (LTCL) Diploma from Trinity College London, and has completed her ABRSM Grade 8 Practical and Theory exams. She is currently studying towards her Master’s degree at the University of British Columbia. She is under the guidance of Dr. Corey Hamm, who is a widely known pianist in North America and in Asia. In her previous studies, Cindy had the privilege of studying with Yundi Li’s teacher, Zhaoyi Dan, in ShenZhen. 

During her studies, Cindy has competed in many music festivals in China. She has placed second during the 4^th Steinway Youth Piano Competition (China) and the winner of the 4^th TOYAMA (Asia) Youth Music Competition. She has taught music for over 8 years and is passionate to share her love and joy of music with students of all ages and levels.
