Carlene Wiebe is a graduate of the University of Victoria’s music program where she attained a Bachelor of Music with Distinction in Voice Performance. Carlene has performed with Pacific Opera Chorus, Vancouver Opera Chorus, Opera Breve Vancouver, Kamloops Symphony Orchestra, Thompson Valley Orchestra, in the Butchart Gardens Summer Song and Dance Revue, and for BC Living Arts. Most recently Carlene performed the role of Serpina in Pergolesi’s La Serva Padrona with the Brandenburg Orchestra. She holds certification from the British Columbia Registered Music Teachers Association and has been a voice teacher for over 20 years. In that time she has also been a choral conductor, voice adjudicator, and held singing master class around the Lower Mainland. For the last 15 years, Carlene has taught voice at the Kamloops Symphony Music School. She is thrilled to start a new chapter of teaching at the Vancouver International Music School – White Rock/Langley.
